FAQ

Do I need to be a serious cyclist?

Not at all. This is a relaxed social ride along the mostly-flat Strawberry Line traffic-free path. If you can cycle to the pub, you can do this.

How do I find out the date?

The date is shared with registered riders via our WhatsApp group. Get in touch to be added.

What bike should I bring?

Anything roadworthy — the Strawberry Line is a well-surfaced path, so a hybrid, gravel or mountain bike is ideal. Make sure your brakes and tyres are in good shape.

How do I pay my contribution?

There's no need to donate online. Pay the organiser directly — a bank transfer via the WhatsApp group is easiest, or settle up in person on the day. We then make a single group donation on behalf of the whole ride.

Where does the money go?

Every penny goes to Talk Club, a men's mental health charity that runs free talking groups — including sessions local to the people taking part in this ride. NPS collects everyone's contributions and donates them as one group total.
